A Cut Above Grooming opened July 2015 and has been growing strong ever since. Proud owner, Crystal Labelle, is a professional dog and cat groomer trained by one of the best groomers Ottawa has to offer, out of a high end salon in Orleans.  With a background in business, as a business accounting graduate at St. Lawrence College, Crystal has always strived to be an entrepreneur.  Upon opening A Cut Above Grooming, she has combined her knowledge and passion for business and animals  with her skills and talent for dog and cat grooming to create a local salon to serve clients in the areas of Russell, Embrun, Metcalfe, Limoges and surrounding communities.

After almost 9 years of working out of her home business, Crystal took the next step in October 2023, and expanded to a commercial space in Embrun.  From there she is pursuing her passion for training other qualified people.  She is proud to pass on all her grooming knowledge.

Specializing in all common breeds of dogs, all the groomers at A Cut Above Grooming are trained to do classic/show breed clips or customize to suit whatever the client requests. All dogs are finished with hand scissoring techniques. And most importantly your satisfaction is guaranteed!
